A little humor

It seems like I get messages or emails from my friends saying they are sorry for all the drama I experience or how sorry they are my life is like it is so I figured that A) I would share some rather humorous things that happen to me on a fairly regular basis and B) tell everyone not to feel bad or sad - it is what it is and I am a survivor in more ways than one :)

So far today  what Erik is missing ( or maybe he isn't lol) is that I have figured out the reason for the spray bottle of anti itch stuff being on the back of the toilet and how to get myself a new Victoria's Secret bra ( thank you goat dog)

In waking my sleep deprived self up this morning I noticed the spray bottle of Benadryl on the back of the toilet and while I wondered to myself why in the world it was out I didn't question it because after all I live in a house of boys and things have a way of being used in random odd ways that often times I just don't want to know about. I went about the morning packing lunches, feeding the dogs and yelling at sleeping teenagers. I then drove my little stink to school where he said to me " I don't know why my cut hurts - I sprayed ALOT of the magic spray on it..." Nothing like a light bulb going off in your head when your child is hurt! Yep, another mom of the year award coming right up.

I get home, pull into my garage and see that Barbara ( my car) has left me a big ol present in the garage and while I normally love the color pink I don't really care for it when it comes in the form on leaking transmission fluid! Onward and upward I say what a day... Yet that appears to be just the beginning.

I walk inside and Sophie aka goat dog is going NUTS I mean off the wall baying and jumping - just plain coo coo. For my 41 pound beagle to get air she clearly had to find some crack hidden somewhere that even I don't know about so I am going about the house looking and looking - nothing.... What the hell I say, maybe she has just finally lost her mind which is entirely possible in this house. Nope - enter the bedroom - SOMEONE ( a 45 year old going to be in big trouble someone) left out a big chocolate fish from Christmas and goat dog found it and ate the whole dang thing!!!! I guess for a moment her fishing trip was a success till she decided she didn't like "fish" and found my most expensive bra that missed the hamper this morning and used it as a toilet bowl for her chocolaty vomit.

All this before noon makes for a great day lol - so yes my friends my life does have such fun moments to go right along with those God awful ones like standing in my Uncle's brain matter 4 days before Christmas. I get up each day and have highs and lows as I am sure everyone does but I am not afraid to hide them and I hope in sharing both sides someone learns something along the way, be it pick up the expensive bra before leaving the dogs alone or telling the ones you love how you feel before it's to late.
